Water in

bottled drinks

Current laws establish 3 types of bottled water:

1) Natural mineral water: Those that are bacteriologically healthy and come from the underground. They feature and unchanging mineral content.

2) Spring water: Also of underground, drinking sources. An unchanging chemical composition is not required, so it is not necessary to report such composition in the label.

3) Prepared water: Those that undergo approved physical and chemical treatments as necessary to make them drinkable.
